After Geneva Agreement of July 1954, the country was divided due to historical context, therefore the Evangelical Protestantism in Vietnam was divided into two organizations: Evangelical Associations in Northern and Southern of Vietnam.
The Association in the North was an organization that guided and assisted by the Government of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam since 1958. As time went by, many Evangelical organizations were established, according to statistics, nowadays there are approximately over 70 Evangelical organizations in Vietnam, with more than one million faithful.
The headquarters is located in the Church at number 2 Ngõ Trạm, Hoàn Kiếm district. Vietnamese Evangelical Association in the North is a member of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, operating in the direction of “be Godly, be Patriotic”.
